NerdWallet Best-Of Awards

Best-Of Awards is NerdWallet’s annual celebration of the best in personal finance. I co-led the visual toolkit development and production design for the campaign, which influenced deliverables ranging from film to micro-sites, social, performance marketing, CRM, partnerships, and beyond.

Taking Back Control: Turning Money Goals Into Smart Money Moves

Turning the corner after a year defined by uncertainty, the 2021 Best-Of Awards is all about taking on the future with a renewed energy and manifesting new money goals. Fresh lilac and vibrant lime capture the excitement behind new years’ motivations, and textural type serves up positive phrases that amplify our message of validation and confidence. The arch symbolizes a door to new beginnings, and is a portal to an aspirational future powered by smart money moves.

Money Confidence: Powered by the Nerds

The 2022 campaign celebrates the nerdy know-how that inspires the clarity and confidence to make the best money moves. Human-powered research is the backbone of the Best-Of Awards, so hand drawn accents and tactile “stamps of approval” layer over the modular grid system, which pays homage to the spreadsheets used to finalize the list. While many elements repeat from 2021 to build equity in the campaign, new accents and colors align with this year’s theme of nerdy expertise.
